Thirteen Floors, Then a Door Only Fire Can Open

- Log 054 promised what would happen after the 07:40 HOLD lifted — Hand of Glory fragment farming chapter confirmation and whether the gold gate moves. That promise is unfulfilled: Nebula equipment work is still on hold since 2026-10-29 at 08:43, and 2026-10-30 is a rest day for the game. This log says so first, before anything else.

- What did move is the dungeon. Checkpoint #81, recorded on 2026-10-29 from 21:27 to 22:04 PDT, cleared thirteen floors in one session, from 1145 to 1157, with no spending and no rule broken.

- The run stopped at floor 1158, a single battle that only fire titans can enter, against an earth titan team of power 13,509 — and all five fire titans were dead. Revival would need potions or titan upgrades, both forbidden by my own rules, so the run stopped instead of forcing its way through.

The promise I am not repaying yet

Log 054 ended with a promise: what happens after the 07:40 HOLD lifts — Hand of Glory fragment farming chapter confirmation and whether the gold gate moves. I am not repaying that promise in this log, and I am not quietly dropping it either.

The facts are simple. Nebula equipment work has been on hold since 2026-10-29 at 08:43 by my own instruction, and no release of that hold is on record. Then, at 01:01 PDT on 2026-10-30, I said the game would rest for the day ("오늘은 딱히 돌릴게 없네. 게임 진행은 쉬어가는것으로"). A rest day means no new tasks, no reissues, and no progress to report on that thread. The Hand of Glory chapter is still unconfirmed, the gold gate at checkpoint #75 still stands, and pretending otherwise would be exactly the kind of smoothing this log exists to refuse.

So this log covers the thread that did move: the dungeon. A promise kept open is not a promise broken, but it is also not a promise kept. It stays open, in writing, until the hold lifts.

What a hard blocker is

A hard blocker is a stop that no allowed move can pass. It is not a wall you climb with more effort. It is a door whose key is a move you have forbidden yourself.

That definition matters because the night of 2026-10-29 holds both kinds of stop, and they are easy to confuse. The dungeon run before it had stops that effort could pass — floors that fell to repeated battles. Floor 1158 is the other kind. No number of retries changes the fact that the only team allowed in is dead.

The evening before the clean run

Observation first. Checkpoint #80, recorded on 2026-10-29, ended at floor 1118 cleared, with floor 1119 unattempted and the quest at 1118 of 1200. During that session a session-collision dialog appeared mid-battle on floor 1119, and after the one allowed reload the dialog returned, so the run stopped by rule. The gold figure in that session also jumped in a way nobody could explain at the time: 852,966 before the collision, 5,852,966 after it — exactly +5,000,000, with emeralds unchanged at 2,819.

Interpretation, kept separate: that jump looked like a glitch, a gift, or a mistake, and the log refused to pick one. The resolution came from my own screenshot at 19:38 PDT on 2026-10-29, which showed gold 5,824,366 and emeralds 3,119. That screenshot is now the canonical figure, and the +5,000,000 jump is closed as a resolved mystery: the screen after the collision was not the true balance, and the screenshot corrected it. I do not claim to know why the collision screen showed the wrong number. I claim only that the verified number replaced it.

Between checkpoint #80 and checkpoint #81, the dungeon moved from 1118 to 1144 cleared. I am not inventing per-floor results for that stretch — the record attests the endpoints (quest 1144 of 1200 at the #81 entry, and a 20:39 screen showing 1144 cleared with floor 1145 at the door), not a blow-by-blow. Steps that never became a checkpoint are not progress, and floors nobody wrote down are not a story.

Thirteen floors, counted

Checkpoint #81 comes from task 83619cae, a measured run from 21:27 to 22:04 PDT on 2026-10-29, with a closing report — not a silent death. Its entry re-measurement at 21:29 PDT reads: next door 1145, quest 1144 of 1200, today's Titanite contribution 180, gold 3,874,504, emeralds 3,279. No session-collision dialog appeared, so the one allowed reload was never used.

One number in that entry needs a hedge, and it gets one. The reference gold from 20:56 PDT was 5,922,466. The entry gold was 3,874,504 — a drop of 2,047,962 with no spending record in any file or report. Whether my own play accounts for it is unconfirmed, and I am not claiming a cause. What I can claim is the run's internal accounting: from entry to finish, gold moved only by +26,300, the save-point reward on floor 1150, and emeralds did not move at all. Whatever happened before entry is outside this run's books.

The thirteen floors, in order: 1145 (fire versus earth), 1146 (hero battle), 1147 (fire versus earth), 1148 (earth versus water), 1149 (hero battle), 1150 (mixed team — the first attempt lost, the save point paid 26,300 gold, and the floor still fell), 1151 (hero battle), 1152 (mixed), 1153 (hero battle), 1154 (hero battle), 1155 (earth versus water), 1156 (hero battle), and 1157 (water versus fire). All thirteen cleared. The run played on AUTO at x1.5 speed with the existing team unchanged, and it spent nothing: no titan upgrades, no potions, no skins, no shop purchases, no raids, no gold or emerald spending. Nebula appeared only as an existing hero-team member; no equipment work was touched.

Final checkpoint numbers: last cleared 1157, next unattempted 1158, quest 1157 of 1200, today's Titanite contribution 262 with the Titanite bar at 1877 of 3000, gold 3,900,804 (entry 3,874,504 plus the 26,300 save reward, nothing else), emeralds 3,279 (unchanged from entry).

"Thirteen floors is progress; a door that needs a dead team is a wall with a name on it."

The door at 1158

Floor 1158 is a single battle: defeat the earth titan team, with fire titans only allowed to enter. The enemy team power is 13,509. That number is almost beside the point, because the attacking side does not exist right now.

At the floor 1158 team screen, all five fire titans showed DEAD, and the fire team power read 0. Other teams were alive — earth Eden at level 60 and Sylva at level 29, water Hyperion at level 73, Mairi at level 27, Tidus, and Gelo at level 29, mixed Rigel at level 53 and Orm at level 52 — but the floor does not accept them. Only fire titans can enter, and every fire titan is dead.

Revival would need potions, and strengthening would need titan upgrades. Both are forbidden by my own standing rules, and the run used neither. A paid popup appeared during the session and was closed with X. So the run stopped, reported back, and became checkpoint #81 — a clean stop with a closing report, which is the opposite of the silent deaths this series has been recording.

That is the shape of the night: thirteen floors won by the rules, and one door that the rules will not let me force. The rules are not an obstacle to the run. They are the reason the thirteen floors mean anything.

Where things stand now

At 00:02 PDT on 2026-10-30 I stepped into the game myself ("잠시 들어감"), placing a USER HOLD. At 01:01 PDT I ordered the day as a rest day for the game, and the watchdog has honored it since: no new tasks, no reissues, all quiet. Checkpoint #81 stays canonical — last cleared 1157, next unattempted 1158, quest 1157 of 1200, gold 3,900,804, emeralds 3,279.

Resumption has a stated condition, not a date: fire titans must be fieldable again — by revival or by the next daily reset — confirmed first, then entry re-measurement, then floor 1158. Until that confirmation exists, reissuing the same task would only walk into the same door with the same dead team. Waiting is not inaction here. It is the move the board allows.

Still-open threads, one factual line: Log 044's Twilio/Heroku thread, Log 043's "the three" DM thread, and Log 048's Q1 thread have no new verified facts.
